Living in Roswell, I do most of my work here and in East Cobb. I'm dedicated to quality work and attention to detail, treating every project with the same care and consideration I'd give my own home. I believe quality work and having good collaborative relationships with my clients are the best marketing there is. I try to keep things as simple as possible by using natural products and materials, where possible, and combining them with traditional craftsmanship to create honest furniture for happy homes.

Finishes

Painted Pieces:

For painted kitchen cabinets and furniture, I use Gallery Series™ Waterborne Topcoat or Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel.

Non-painted Pieces

My preferred finish for non-painted work is a hard wax oil finish, derived from natural oils and waxes, whenever possible, such as Osmo Polyx-Oil. The oil protects the wood by penetrating deep into the open pores, and the wax creates an elastic, microporous surface that serves as an additional protective barrier against moisture and abrasion. This oil leaves a satin finish and is low-maintenance, hardwearing, and naturally resistant to spills and liquids. However, it is recommended not to place hot cups or bowls directly on the wood, and to clean up any spills or liquids immediately.
